Pirate?

Today at daycare.. yes I know alot happens at that time! Elizabeth, Emily's daughter cut herself and needed a bandaide.. Oakley being the stinker that he is, started crying and wanted one also. He then got one and Emily asked where he wanted it.. He wanted it on his 'owie'! Here are some pictures of him!
Don't mind his Halloween sweats! Harley picked his clothes out for today and when I went to change them, they both got mad!

Poor Guy...

I was getting ready to start eating my dinner tonight and I got this text from Mike saying look, Oakley fell up the stairs.. I think that he is going to have a black eye.. And then the picture came.. Poor guy.. but how do you fall up the stairs and end up with a swollen blue eye? Beyond my imagination.. I could never figure it out!

I then pick the kids up from Mike at the gas station like we always do.. (yes it is convienant) NOT! Oakley gets in the car and says Owie mommy.. I said did you fall and hit your eye. He shook his head and then pointed to his eye. As Mike is telling me that he fell down the stairs too and bonked his head.. My thought.. what is going on... But then again what do I do.. It could have happened at my house too.. Here is a picture as he was going to bed.. His eye is swollen more and way bruised.. I can't wait to see what it looks like in the morning.. Or do I want to?m (don't mind the dirty face. he has a thing with chocolate!)

I received this as an email today and started laughing.. It is so true!

A man was being tailgated by a woman on Foothill
Boulevard in Salt Lake City.

Suddenly, the light turned yellow just in front of
him. He did the right thing, stopping at the
crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red
light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman slammed on the brakes and leaned
on the horn. She opened her window, stuck her hand out
and made a gesture, all the while screaming in
frustration as she missed her chance to get through
the intersection with him.

As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her
window and looked up into the face of a very serious
police officer.

The officer ordered her to exit her car with her
hands up. He took her to the police station where she
was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and placed
in a cell.

After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the
cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the
booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting
with her personal effects.

He said, 'I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I
pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your
horn, flipping the guy off in front of you, and
cussing a blue streak at him.

I noticed the 'Choose The Right' license plate holder,
the 'Families are Forever' bumper sticker, the 'Follow
Me to Sunday School' bumper sticker, and the
chrome-plated Angel Moroni emblem on the trunk.

Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car.'

Weekend Project

This weekend I was sitting home watching myself some t.v. I was watching a show on the fashion industry and the fashion show in New York. As I sat there and was watching these girls sit and sew and design their clothes (although some of them I would NEVER purchase or think of wearing) I got the wild hair that I do at times. I went to the fabric store and checked out some of the patterns that they had there. Luckily, all the patterns that I really liked were on sale for less than 2 bucks.. who could not take up that offer... So with the 2 dollar patterns I had a 40% off coupon.. I found some really cute fabric.. Yes, as you can tell it is baseball's and it is red! I have sat and decided when to start making this dress.. So during conference I sat in front of the t.v. watching and sewing.. Here is the start and finished product. I can not wait to make a pair of shorts for Oakley to match!!
This picture is not a good one of the dress.. I had to tie the strings with out a body to measure them on. It is really cute! I can not wait to let Harley see it! (and the other ones that I have been making since finishing this one!)

21. How did u pick the name? We actually thought that Oakley would be a girl. I had a girl named picked out... The day that I went and had an ultrasound and was told it was a boy... we went and bought a baby name book.. All the names that I liked Mike hated and the ones that he liked I did not care for. (all the names we would say were people that we did not like) So I was just flipping through the name book and Oakley kept on catching my eye! Robert is my dads name.

22. How did you know when it was time to go to hospital? I had my inducement scheduled. I just had to sit and wait for the hospital to call me...

24. Did you go home or somewhere else when you left the hospital? We stayed at Mikes parents house. They were on vacation and we had already told them that we would house sit for them.

6. who was in the room when baby was born? Mike, Mom and Mikes Mom.. the dad's were out watching t.v. they did not want to see all that!

Ok... so today at work I said something about forever.. and my boss started singing this song! She has every word memorized. I started laughing at her. So I had to pull it up on youtube and share it with you all.. Remember the days of FULL HOUSE! (wait, i have to find a boyfriend first and he has to agree with it!)

And it begins!

I am so Excited! I get to sit and watch my favorite sport for the next 7 months.. Not only am I a fan of the best team ever.....

But I get to watch this guy!


I know.. I know! I love to watch the Red Sox. I have been keeping updated on how well they have been doing so far.. What it has only been two games.. So not only am I going to be able to watch my favorite team... but I have to watch their RIVAL and not that I am to excited about watching them.. Yes the Yanks... I will have to watch it because all of my friends and my brothers are Yankee fans...

This is the only reason to watch the Yankees play!

I can not believe I just put those two teams on the same post... Ugh.....=)

Things I want to.....

Well since it is 9:30pm and I am sitting here, alone. The kids are in bed. So what do I do? Blog! I was checking out all the blogs that have been updated! Thanks to google reader! I can keep updated without having to click on every blog that I look at.. It is a one click easy read! So Hillary had just posted this and I thought that it was interesting, so here I am reposting it!

1. Things I want to start but haven't started
School. I have went to a couple months of cosmo school but then things happened and I got married.. then the little kids came along. Now that I am single again, maybe it will happen soon! I do need to go to school!

2. Things I want to change but haven't changed
Same with Hillary, I dont want to be to negative BUT if I had to change anything... HMMM... why would I? I have learned from all my mistakes and trials in life.. It has been a learning experience!

3. Things I want to stop but haven't stopped
Yuck.. nasty habit of biting my nails.. I have tried this since I was YOUNG and can not seem to get over it. The only time that they are not being bit is I have the 'fake' nails on!

4. Things I started but haven't finished
Scrapbooks of my kids! Harley has 2 but nothing since she was 3.. she is now 5 1/2... Oakley has A page.. and it was from when I was prego... and yes he will be 2 in a month and a half.. think I need to get going with it?

5. Things I want to do but haven't done
Go on a vacation for myself! I want to go somewhere that I can just relax with someone special and have the most amazing time ever. Not worrying about my kids, knowing that they are in good hands, but I also have the time to myself...

6. Things I want to say but haven't said
No names here and not getting into detail.. But there are some people that have been in my life and they still kind of are due to my kids... but they REALLY need to know what happened.... thats all!

7. Things I want to learn but haven't learned
Hmm that is a tie between learning another language and learning how to play a musical instrument!

8. Feelings I have but haven't expressed
Telling my parents that I do love them and appreciate all that they do for my kids and me. They really do alot and I don't know how to thank them for the help that has been given in the last year and a half... but here.. thanks mom and dad!

Time to potty train?

Today at the babysitters Erika and Oakley are both there. Erika is going through the whole potty training stage, and yes I have been trying to get Oakley excited to potty like a big boy and go with out a diaper! Emily sent me and email letting me know that he is being silly and sitting on a stool and pretending to pee saying 'PSSSSSSSS' then ' all done'! He is so funny. He knows what he is supposed to do but it is getting all parties involved and doing the same thing.. I.E. me, his dad, and Emily the babysitter. I guess I am going to have to get him some big boy underoos so that may get him excited. Here are some pictures that Emily sent over.

I think that he forgot that he needed to take the underwear off to sit on the toilet! and Yes, Erika and Elizabeth had to be there to help out!

Puppy style!

This weekend we went to Granny and Grandpa's house for our be-lated Easter.. I did not have the kids for Easter, Ty could not get off work, and other family was at Granny's house for Easter weekend. The two little ones love to get in the dog cage. (Harley used to do this too and play like she was a dog!). So the little ones kept on getting in and putting a blanket over the cage and pretending that they were sleeping. I had to take this picture from Emily and put it on here because look at how cute the two of them are? I am so happy that they really do get along. Oakley loves his cousin Erika and loves to be able to play with her all the time. Hopefully it stays like this throughout the childhood years! Best friends forever.. or doggy buddies!!
