Tonight I decided that I was going to make some bread! I have had some peaches and bananas that if I didnt use, they were going to go bad... I got a Banana Bread recipe from a friend and wanted to try it out. I went to my FAVORITE website.... allrecipes.com and put in Peaches.. the first recipe that came up was a Peach Bread. So now I am going to share with you!
Banana Bread
Banana Bread
Recipe:
5 Large Bananas
4 Eggs
1 cup shortening
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Brown Sugar
3 1/2 cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
Walnuts if wanted
Beat Bananas into a liquid. In a separate bowl cream eggs, shortening, and sugars. Beat until fluff. Add Banana's, baking soda, and salt. Blend flour into batter. Stir in Walnuts. Place into well greased pans. Bake at 300 for 1 hour.
Peach Bread

1 cup Vegetable Oil
2 cups Diced Peaches(canned)
3 cups Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
3 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup Walnuts (optional)
In a large bowl beat the eggs lightly. Blend in sugar, oil and Vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix just to combine. Stir in peaches and nuts. Pour into greased pans. Bake for 1 hour at 350
** I used fresh peaches**
