Birthday pics

Oakley's 2nd Birthday is coming up and I needed to get some pictures of him for an invitation. Here are some pics. My favorite is the one with the Pepsi can, even though he does have a dirty shirt! I will post more with the invite at a later date!

SF Fire Dept.

Saturday was Spanish Fork's 100 yr Celebration for the Fire Department. My dad is a Firefighter and so we went down to see. They had a good breakfast made by I Dunno! cafe. It was really good. If you like biscuits and gravy! We then went and took pictures of the trucks and the kids. Oakley loved the trucks. He wanted to get in all of them. We were walking around and he said to one of the firefighters from Salem that he wanted to get in. They let him get in and sit on the seats. He stayed there for about 5 minutes until I said that I was going to go and see another truck. We then went to the parade. It was full of Fire trucks from all over Utah. It was pretty cool to see the support from firemen around the state. Here is a picture of dad and the grandkids!

Dentist

Harley and I had dentist appointments yesterday. She was such a trooper! We have not been for a long time. Yeah, I know, I am a slacker! Here are some pictures of her. The ones of Oakley are of him after he woke up. He slept on my stomach the whole time I was getting my teeth cleaned! what a good boy!

They give you headphone so you can watch the tv on the ceiling and sun glasses so you don't get anything in your eyes!

Happy Birthday Tyson!

I just wanted to wish Tyson a Happy Birthday! I can not believe that my little bro is 22.. CRAZY! A little bit about Ty. He is a man of many talents! I remember when he was little he was going to be a football player. He did that! He played for Cokeville High School for 3 yrs. (which they were a VERY good team!) He has been a Cheerleader for Dixie State! Tyson is a licensed Cosmotologist, and is now in the Army. Tyson joined the Army and is going to do what he has been going to do for a while. Serve our Country.
Tyson is a Yankee fan through and through! (and has a brother to be on his side, but a sister to be the rival! GO SOX!) =) Tyson was married in November to Lauren and she makes him so Happy! Tyson is the best uncle 3 kids could have. I have asked Harley what she loves about Tyson and she always says that she loves that he teases her. After asked why she loves him for that, she said that he teases her because he loves her! That is true! I am so glad that I have a really cute brother, because, I now know what my little Oak, aka TYSON JR. will look like! Enough said, I just really wanted to wish Tyson a HaPPy BiRThdAy! and let him know that we love him!

FLASHBACK FRIDAY!

I am going to be doing this for a couple Fridays. I have seen it on a few blogs and thought that it was really funny to see things from the past. I found this picture and thought that it was funny! Okay, I found a couple! That means that you will have to wait!
This picture is of Michelle and I when we were about 7 or 8. I remember these shirts and making them! SO 1980's! I was staying at Michelle's house in Clearfield for a week in the summer. We did this all the time. Aunt Meg took us to a t-shirt store where we got to pick out a shirt and put the paint on it while it spun! Don't we look so cute! Especially with the shirts to the side! Look, we even have matching Jelly Bracelets! What were we thinking? Oh, my the BaNgS! I can go on and on about this pic!

MY FAVORITE THINGS Around the House..

My favorite thing in the kitchen is... my Windows! I love that I can look out and see the road! haha okay.. no really I do love them.. it reminds me of the wonderful days that we are having!

My favorite thing in the bathroom is... My new shower curtain! I love it.. I went RETRO! blues, browns and creams!

My favorite thing in the bedroom is... My dresser... I love it.. If only my bed would fit in my small room I would have a wonderful room!

My favorite thing in the bedroom closet is... My flipflops! Yes, I have a TON of them!

My favorite thing in the living room is... My pictures of my kids... reminds me what beautiful kids I have and why I don't regret getting married!

My favorite thing in the pantry is... Pantry? Ha! okay my cupboards, all the ramen noodles! cheep and easy dinners!

My favorite thing in the "office" is... office.. okay my two bedroom house does not have room for an office! My office is where ever my computer is! but I would say it is a toss up between my computer and my Lia Sophia catalog! it goes everywhere my computer goes!

My favorite thing in the baby's room is... the Johnny Depp poster! Harley had to have one.. But hey, now I dont have to put one up in my room! I can just go to her room and look at it! lol

Monday Night.... Softball!

Monday night, my dad had a softball game. I am so excited that he is playing! That gives us more time to be at the ball park. YAY! It was a really good game.. the guys held the other team and went into double O.T. or in baseball extra innings! Here are some pictures of the kids watching the game. They kept on saying "GO PAPA!"

This is Aurora (Trint and Chanel's little girl). She is Oakley's age and wanted to play with him but everytime that she got close to him he would slide away. It was so cute though, she was getting mad when he would leave her!

Sunday..... walk in the park!

Today, I took the kids to the park in Provo to feed the ducks. They had a blast even though the ducks would not eat the bread that they were feeding them. Oakley had a fun time throwing the bread into the water and watching it float away. We ate lunchables while waiting for time to pass on! They then went and played at the park and go up and down the slide! Here are some pictures of them playing.

Terrible two's, Already?

I have been having problems getting Oakley to go to bed. I let him sit and cry and hit and scream tonight. He then went and got a toy and played with it for a bit.. then came out by me at the computer and sat and watched the news.. Oh what fun! He saw my camera and said, 'cheese mom, cheese' I looked at him and he was trying to take a picture of himself. I took the camera from him and tried to take a pic. He then turned his butt up at me. Then I got this one.=) I asked him to go and get me a blanket so that I could cuddle with him on the couch, a couple minutes passed and I did not hear anything from him. I went into his room and nothing, the bathroom and nothing, so I went into my room and found him asleep.. this is the cutest..

Old McDonald had a farm!

We had family home evening tonight and we went to Aunt Shirley's and Uncle John's house. Their goats had just had babies so we took the kids to go and see them. It was way fun. Not only did they get to see the goats but the got to see the horses and the turkey! The kids got into the pen with the goats and chased them around. Trent even thought that he would try and catch a baby goat so that we could pet it.

Softball..

Today was the first game of the season! It was SOO much fun. Even though the team that we played kicked our aces! What is with it with people who have to play to win and not for fun? Isn't that what it is supposed to be about? Well, I played and had a fun time! Except.... I was running to third base and the left fielder threw the ball and instead of sliding because I was one step away from the base and.... the third baseman does not know how to catch a ball..... it hit me in the leg.. OUCH! but who says all girls cry.. what is up with that... deal with the pain! And I can not believe all the people that are like.. OMG are you okay.. Yes I am fine.. I know how to deal with pain from a softball... okay.. well if I would have slid into third, like I would have if I played in SPANISH FORK.. because you know you get out if you don't slide..... It would have hit me in the head.. and then I probably would have cried! So here is a gross picture of my leg.... and it has only been an hour since it happened.....(from the time I took the picture)
